BYU Museum of Art

Campaign: Gates of Paradise

Client: Brigham Young University - Museum of Art

In this short documentary, we follow Rachel Maughan as she has a once-in-a-lifetime experience working on replicas of the Gates of Paradise at the BYU Museum of Art. (MOA) As an art student working alongside faculty mentors and fellow students, Rachel helped restore the 17-foot plaster casts now displayed in the BYU Museum of Art (MOA). Through this hands-on experience, which closed out the MOA's 10-year restoration project, Rachel discovered a renewed sense of purpose, deep gratitude and confidence that she was on a path worth walking. Summer Creative Agency produces the yearly documentary series: Arts & Comms: Behind the Stories for Brigham Young University. Each season’s stories feature different areas and programs within the College of Fine Arts and Communications (CFAC). This multi-episode series is produced, filmed, edited, and released across the span of a year. As proud BYU CFAC alumni, our team loves featuring the students, faculty, and staff of the college each year. The CFAC's impact extends both worldwide and to local communities alike.
